Celebrate Mum With Flowers

Mother’s Day is almost here and is a gentle reminder of all the things Mum/motherly figure, has done for us. From the sleepless nights to dealings with tantrums, teenage years and probably still doing a lot for you, its great day to show her how much you care.

With still a few days to organise a gift for Mum (Sunday 12th of May), it’s worth putting in a bit of effort. Whether you’re buying for your mum, your partner or a special motherly figure in your life, give it some thought and order her some favourite blooms. What flowers does she usually buy? Is more a classic rose, or a something funkier? What are her favourite colours? Does she have a favourite scent?

When looking at blooms, think about what is grown locally and in season, to ensure Mum is only receiving the best blooms. Tulips, Freesias, Stock, Protea and Roses are all in season at the moment. You can ask your local florist which products are in season and if they are grown locally. They can also give you tips and tricks on how to best care for your new blooms.

Say more with flowers this Mother’s Day and is such a beautiful way to say how much you love your mum.
